The GSPCA are hugely grateful to the amazing team at Investec Bank Offshore.

Their staff have given hundreds of hours to help out at the GSPCA since 2019.

In that time they have helped in so many incredible ways from helping care for animals to helping with grounds work, painting to helping sort donations.

They also helped last year sponsor an AED machine and most recently helped with a donation that enabled us to purchase a new Electric Animal Ambulance which some of their team got to see last month when they volunteered.

Tim Pellett GSPCA Community and Training Officer said “Over the last month we’ve had lots of volunteers from the fantastic Investec team.”

“On the 23rd June a team from Investec enjoyed the sunshine and making a difference to our pond areas.”

“They also got to see the latest addition to our vehicle fleet that Investec helped purchase recently.”

“On the 30th June Tom and Tracey from Investec from Investec volunteers by helping work on maintenance and boarding dogs.”

“Tracey replenished the treats for the boarding doggies, after helping clean out kennels in the morning.”

“Tom was very helpful using his height to good advantage to support the maintenance team with ongoing works painting within the boarding cats department.”

“On Thursday 1st July Sarah from Investec supported us by helping on boarding dogs which was really appreciated.”

James Mroch Relationship Manager from Investec Bank Offshore who helped on the 23rd June said “It was great to spend the afternoon up at the GSPCA Guernsey last month with a group of my colleagues helping out with some garden maintenance as part of Investec’s CSR programme.”

“It was very enjoyable & rewarding to help restore the duck pond back to some of its former glory, the AMAZING weather certainly helped too.”

“Whilst up at the animal shelter it was great to see the brand new electric van that the GSPCA has been able to purchase through a donation made by Investec.”

“I firmly enjoy opportunities to give back to our community, and I look forward to supporting the GSPCA further this summer.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are hugely grateful to all the team at Investec who are doing so much to help and support our work at the GSPCA.”

“They are truly amazing and we cannot thank them enough for all they do and have done, especially since 2019 and despite the lockdowns from funding life saving equipment like the AED to most recently helping fund a new Electric Animal Ambulance and hundreds of hours, they really help make a difference with us being able to achieve our work 24/7.”

“The Investec team are so friendly and work so hard and from all the GSPCA team and animals we want to say a MASSIVE thanks, we really truly appreciate your support.”

“The new GSPCA Animal Ambulance which is an Electric Nissan NV200 helps ensure we can rescue animals 365 days a year and also with it being electric helps reduce our carbon footprint which is extremely important to us at the GSPCA.”

“We must all do what we can to care for our environment and again thank you to Investec helping us achieve this.”

“There are many ways to support us from those want to give CSR time and skills to those wanting to help sponsor or support something from our Wish List .” .”
