Maximillian says ‘I’m Maximillian, a Madeiran wall lizard. You may have seen me in the Guernsey Press, from when I hitched a lift in a suitcase from Madeira all the way to Guernsey. It’s now time for me to find a forever home.

Since I landed in Guernsey I have been fully vet checked, wormed and all is in good health. I’m looking for a home where I can be a display lizard. I’m quite shy and enjoy my home comfort. I would prefer my new owner to have experience in the reptile world.

If you would be interested in rehoming Maximillian, please send an email to admin@gspca.org.gg detailing your experience with reptiles and sending on your contact details.’

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are always looking for loving homes for animals from the many rabbits, ferrets, older cats and you will often see many home to homes on our social media, so if wanting to give an animal a home please do complete an online adoption form or pop in and say hello.”

“Maximillian has completed his quarantine after hitching a lift in a bag from Maderia and is now looking for a home.”

“He will need a very special home with a  knowledgeable owner.”

“If you are interested please4 do get in touch.”

“We are well into Spring now and we are getting very busy seeing lots of young animals needing our care from baby birds to baby bunnies.”
