The GSPCA in September opened our new Charity Shop in Smith Street and it has been doing extremely well headed up by Michelle Champion and her great team of volunteers.
The shop is located next to Fillers and some may remember it as the Christian Aid or Oxfam shop.
Normal open hours are 8am to 530pm Monday to Saturday but with the Late Night Christmas Shopping events.
This coming Monday pop along to St Martins for their annual Christmas Market.
Starting from 6pm until 830pm with carol singing at 615pm.
There is a free Santas Grotto, snow and so much more.
The GSPCA stall organised by Michelle will have a fabulous range of Christmas gifts on sale.

After the most incredibly difficult year in living memory to GSPCA are appealing for your support this Christmas.
There are many ways to support our work but to help us this Christmas and our Last Minute Christmas Appeal for Animals in Guernsey please go to https://giving.gg/donate/event/6960/Last-minute-Christmas-Appeal-for-animals-in-Guernsey
With over 3000 animals through our doors in 2020 and over 300 in our care our 24/7 work doesn’t top over the festive period.
Whiskers the naughty elf says “Why not sponsor an animal as a gift this Christmas.”
“Please become an Angel Pen Pal Sponsor and help the animals at the GSPCA.”
With your help we can ensure thousands of animals are rescued and cared for every year.
Without you the GSPCA couldn't run 24/7 helping animals in Guernsey.
In the last few days we have helped rescue many hedgehogs, birds, stray cats, dogs, baby bunnies and many more all of which need food, veterinary care and many specialist facilities.
Locally grown Christmas or Festive Trees have been selling fast over the last few days.
Tim Pellett GSPCA Training and Community Officer said “Anyone interested in buying a locally grown Blue Spruce needs to give the Shelter a call on 257261 or email me on [email protected] .”
“We have sold all the good shaped smaller trees but still have quite a number of very large trees.”
Many will be shopping online over the coming days and searching for bargains as gifts.
Have you thought of the hundreds of animals in our care this Christmas and the incredibly difficult year we have all faced and bringing some joy and helping animals at the GSPCA?
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “After the hardest year we have ever faced in living memory at the GSPCA for so many reasons maybe you can help bring some Christmas cheer to the animals in our care.”
Watch this space for details about locally large grown Christmas Trees on sale in aid of the GSPCA.
