Thank you to all that supported the Reservoir Sponsored Dog Walk with Sidney's Events

The GSPCA would like to thank everyone that turned out for the Reservoir Sponsored Dog Walk yesterday with Sidney's Events.

Nearly 30 dogs and walkers arrived at Rue des Anvilles car park to walk the 3 miles of pathes around the Reservoir.

Some in fancy dress and all with smiles, the group of walkers with tiny dogs like Jack Russels and Pugs to German Shepherds and Red Setters all had a lovely walk, with beautiful scenery, enjoying each others company whilst raising funds to help animals in Guernsey.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said 'We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part and it was a lovely morning.'

'All the dogs were fantastically behaved and we all had a wonderful morning raising funds to animal local animals.'

With over £200 raised so far, the GSPCA wish to make a huge thanks to Sidney the dog and his owner Corinne Connolly who organised the walk and who is also organising our Masquerade Ball in November at the St Pierre Park Hotel.

Sunday morning on the 6th October	Car Boot Sale at Alliance Car Park with M.E.N.F.U.N
19th October until 24th October 9am - 6pm - with a few late evening openings planned	Art Exhibition of Art Work from Mark Bayliss at the GSPCA Animal Shelter - Free Entry but donations welcomed
Thursday 24th October – 7.45pm	Art Auction at St Pierre Park Hotel Sponsored by the Heritage Group. If you book a meal at the Victor Hugo Restaurant at the St Pierre Park Hotel then a donation from every meal will be made to the GSPCA. Also the Pavilion will be opening on the evening with their Tennerfest menu and they too are donating proceeds from each meal to the GSPCA.
