This coming Wednesday the 9th October we have a Volunteer Open Evening at the Shelter at 6.30pm.

This is our fourth Volunteeer Evening we have held this year and everyone to date has proved very popular with an additional 50 new volunteers helping out in all sorts of roles and ways.

We are always looking for those keen to help animals in Guernsey.  To help on site you must be over 14 years of age but you can help in other ways if you are younger by fund raising and with the many events we have through the year.

We have many events coming up with the next being a Car Boot Sale this Sunday with M.E.N.F.U.N at Alliance Car Park.

The evening starts at 6.30pm in the Training Room at the Shelter with introductions and a talk about the work of the Shelter and a basic induction.  After the talk each individual has a chance to chat to GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne and at least one of the current volunteers at the Shelter about how they would like to help and the different possibilities.

The previous three events finished around 8pm and if you are interested in helping please do come along.

Here are some of the ways you can volunteer for the GSPCA.
