The GSPCA has seen some massive changes and challenges in recent years and our AGM later this month will show case the work in recent years and our plans for the future.

This AGM is 134th since being founded on the 14th February 1873 and our biggest challenge we are raising funds for is a New Wildlife Hospital and to find out more please visit http://www.gspca.org.gg/blog/gspca-launch-buy-brick-proposed-new-wildlife-hospital

GSPCA Annual Membership Subscriptions of £10 for 2019 is now due for those that haven’t paid and you can become a member on the evening of the AGM.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “On Wednesday 17th April we will be holding our 134th AGM at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.”

“We have had another busy year and have many challenges ahead not just with the 500 animals in our care but also trying to raise the funds for the proposed new Wildlife Hospital.”

“Once again since the last AGM our team and the GSPCA have been honoured with many awards and recognitions and at our AGM we will be giving a little back to some of the amazing supporters and individuals.”

“The challenges in animal welfare we now face are very different to those we faced in 1873 and each year we help over 3000 animals through our doors and many more around Guernsey.”

“There will be a small selection of drinks and nibbles available on arrival and we are looking forward to a night of celebrations and an update on the Wildlife Hospital.”
