2026 GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday a wonderful success and fun dog show results from the 3^rd May

On the 3^rd May the GSPCA ran another amazing Seafront Sunday with a theme of celebrating animals in Guernsey.

With over 100 stalls and things to do a fun day was had by all despite a short shower the weather was mostly on our side.

The Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday is highly likely the day that sees more dogs in one place than any other especially with the fact we run our fun dog show a highlight on a day celebrating animals in Guernsey.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are hugely thankful to all that help support our annual Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday which we have run since 2012.”

“It is an amazing day celebrating animals in Guernsey and we were incredibly lucky to have so many animal business and good causes supporting us on what was and incredible day.”

“The fun dog show run by Seb Goman and judged by Corinne Conolly from Sidneys Sponsored Events who has raised lots of funds for the GSPCA and other good causes wasn’t easy to judge as there were so many incredible dogs with wonderful caring owners.”

“The Best in Show this year was the wonderful Teddy Bear and we must thank all those that supported the show.”

“GU10 added some entertainment when we had a little shower but the day was other than that very day and a great time was had with funds raised to help animals in Guernsey.”

Steve continued "It was wonderful to see so many children dress up for the day and lots of animal mascots joined us including our Bernard our mascot."
