All Children in Fancy Dress at the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday Get a Free Gift
Children are being encouraged to dress up and join the fun at this weekend’s GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday, taking place on Sunday 3rd May in St Peter Port, with a special treat waiting for those who make the effort.
Young visitors who arrive in fancy dress and visit the GSPCA stall on the Crown Pier will receive a free gift, helping to add even more excitement and colour to what promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family.
The event, running along the Seafront from 10am to 4pm, will feature a wide range of stalls, entertainment, and activities, bringing together the community in support of animal welfare and local charities.
And it is not just children who can get involved in dressing up. The GSPCA is also inviting adults and volunteers to take part in the fun by wearing giant animal costumes on the day.
Anyone interested in volunteering and dressing up as one of the GSPCA’s eye-catching animal characters is encouraged to email [email protected] ahead of the event or simply come along to the GSPCA stall on the day.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said:
"The Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday is always a brilliant community event and we really want to make it extra fun this year. We’d love to see as many children as possible in fancy dress – whether that’s as their favourite animal or something completely different – and we’re delighted to be giving a free gift to those who visit us on the Crown Pier."
"We’re also looking for volunteers to get involved by wearing our giant animal suits, which always bring smiles and help raise awareness of animal welfare. If you’re up for a bit of fun and want to support a great cause, we’d love to hear from you."
The GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday promises something for everyone, so come along, enjoy the day, and don’t forget your fancy dress!
