Appeal to find Peafowl Owners near Les Effards – Help Us Reunite These Birds
The GSPCA is issuing an appeal to locate the owners of a flock of peafowl that have recently taken up residence in a stable near Les Effards. While we are working closely with nearby peafowl owners, some of these birds appear to be strays and do not belong to the resident flock in the area.
We are asking islanders to check if they may have lost peafowl that could have travelled to this end of the island. If you believe these birds may belong to you, please get in touch with us:

Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said:
"Peafowl can roam considerable distances, and we want to ensure these beautiful birds are reunited with their rightful owners. If you have peafowl and think some may be missing, please contact us as soon as possible. Sharing this appeal will help us reach anyone who may be looking for their birds."
Seb Goman, GSPCA Senior Animal Care Assistant & Welfare Officer, said:
"We have been working with the Peafowl owners in the area of Les Effards to try and find the owners of a number of birds that do not seem to have a home to which they go back to and seem to have taken residence in this area. If you have any information please do get in touch with the welfare team at the GSPCA to help us get them back where they belong."
Please feel free to share this appeal to help us reunite these birds with their owners. Thank you for your support! ????
