Today is Digital Learning Day and what better day to highlight some amazing support our team received recently from local firm NGIT

The GSPCA are extremely grateful to Doug Belford from NGIT who last week over two mornings helped provide and run Cyber Security training for the staff and volunteers at the GSPCA.

Since September 2011 NGIT have been hugely supportive of the GSPCA from providing equipment to advice, training to support and we cannot thank them enough for all they do and especially to Matthew Hale who regularly gives up Tuesday evenings to walk around the GSPCA with Steve Byrne the Manager to replace and update systems and fit new equipment.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "We cannot thank Matthew Hale and NGIT enough for all they do for us here at the GSPCA and to Doug for his time last week as we have many IT and cloud based systems to run the Shelter and for the records of the animals."

“Doug provided an extremely fun and comprehensive training session for the team in Cyber Security for staff and volunteers at the GSPCA over two mornings.”

“All of the animals details are kept on software and cloud based systems and with the 100’s of emails we receive every day there are many risks the GSPCA have to be aware of to help prevent and virus issues coming from spam mail to other cyber risks.”

“We can highly recommend the Cyber Security training provided by NGIT and from all of the team and animals a huge thank you to NGIT for the wonderful support, training and all they do for us at the GSPCA which is really appreciated."
