An early Christmas Wish comes true thanks to Coops Community Fund for Rescue Equipment at the GSPCA

The GSPCA has many wishes this Christmas and thanks to the Coop one has come true.

The GSPCA recently applied to the Channel Islands Cooperative Society Community Fund – Autumn 2023.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We want to say a huge Christmas thank you to the CI Coop Community Fund.”

“We recently applied for a grant from the fund towards new rescue equipment which we now have.”

“From new baskets to a cat trap, dog control equipment to personal safety equipment we are hugely gratefully for the funds to purchase these much needed items.”

“We are always looking for grants and funds to make the GSPCA wishes come true to hep animals and our community.”

“Some of the main wishes we have are our BIG BUILD appeal to needing a new ambulance, portakabins to somewhere to store pallets of frozen food for the seals, to the smallest of items like bowls and treats.”

“We have a number of wish list pages and please check them out to help us help animals and out 24/7 work.”

“We have held a number of rescue equipment training sessions with our team with the new equipment.”

“Huge thanks to the coop for this and also allowing us have collection tins in many of their stores currently.”

“There are many ways you can help support our vital 24/7 work and donate or raise funds for the hundreds of animals in our care.”
