GSPCA Thanks Supporters Following Successful Guernsey Together Festival
The GSPCA would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported the charity at last month's Guernsey Together Festival, helping to raise valuable funds for local animals in need.
Blessed with glorious sunshine throughout the day, the festival attracted large crowds who enjoyed a fantastic programme of entertainment, community spirit and family-friendly activities. The GSPCA stall proved popular with visitors, with many supporters taking part in the tombola, purchasing goods and making generous donations.
A special thank you goes to Steve Byrne, Ian Dodsworth, Dylan Byrne and Joseph Fox, who volunteered their time and energy to help run the GSPCA stall and raise funds during the event. Their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication helped make the day such a success.
GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne said:
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by the stall, bought tombola tickets, purchased items, made donations and helped support the work of the GSPCA. Every pound raised will help us continue caring for animals in need across Guernsey.”
"A special thanks must go to Ian, Dylan and Joseph for giving up their time to help throughout the day. We were also delighted to meet so many supporters and talk about the work of the GSPCA and our exciting plans for the future."
The charity would also like to thank the organisers of the Guernsey Together Festival and everyone involved in making the event possible.
"Community events like Guernsey Together are a wonderful opportunity to bring people together while supporting local charities and good causes. We would like to thank the organisers, entertainers, volunteers, sponsors and all those who worked behind the scenes to create such a fantastic day for the island community."
The funds raised will help support the GSPCA's ongoing work rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals, as well as caring for sick and injured wildlife across the Bailiwick.
The GSPCA looks forward to attending future community events and thanks everyone once again for their continued kindness and support.
The next event is on the 8th August which is the South Show where the GSPCA will be running a fun dog show.
