Last night we welcomed three new volunteers to the GSPCA team.
The induction evening took place at 630pm where the inductees met GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne.
Steve said “It was wonderful to meet the three new volunteers last night at our GSPCA Volunteer Induction Evening.”
“Two are due to Saturday and the other on Monday and all three are keen to help in a variety of areas.”
“We also have other volunteers starting this week as we can do inductions remotely, but we first need a volunteer application form to start the process.”
“Our next volunteer induction evening takes place on Wednesday 23rd November at 630pm.”
“We couldn’t do so much without our amazing team and we are looking forward the three ladies starting over the next few days.”
“We also have vacancies if anyone is interested in working for the GSPCA and packs are in this write up and online.”
We are extremely busy at the GSPCA and we are calling any of our amazing volunteers with any time to help, as well as looking for those that would like to join the GSPCA team to help.
From helping with our busy ambulance service to walking dogs, our full cattery to our packed rabbit and small animal department, nearly 100 hedgehogs to ferrets, gardening to helping on reception.
All trained volunteers need to do is pop in and the team will have plenty for you to do and a huge thanks in advance.

The volunteer age for inductions is now from 16 years and up and we have opportunities in all parts of our activities here at the GSPCA.
We are currently advertising for additional staff members at the GSPCA.
