At the GSPCA we love to hear from those animals rehomed from the GSPCA and recently we had an update from Sparkle.

We often help animals from around the Channel Islands and Sparkle came from Sark,

Sparkle went to her new home last month and as you may see from the picture she is very happy.

Her new owners said “We promised to send an update on Sparkle, who we adopted just over two weeks ago.”

“We are pleased to say that she has settled in really well and is purring a lot.”

“She gets a lot of love and attention and spends her time either racing around the house at top speed, exploring her environment or sleeping/purring; she completely rules the roost!”

“We thought that the staff would like a few photos as we know they were very fond of her.”

Anna Paint GSPCA Senior Animal Care Assistant said “It is so wonderful to see Sparkle so happy in her new home.”

“Sparkle was one of the younger cats to come into the GSPCA looking for a home but we have many older cats and those with health issues in need.

“We have had many that have needed operations and tests recently and we are always looking for very special homes for the cats tat have been through the wars.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “Thank you so much to Sparkles family for the update and we are all delighted to see her so happy in her new home.”

“We have many animals in need of homes from cats to dogs, but at present we have many rabbits, hamsters, degus and birds in need of loving new owners and you can see many of them on our website or pop into the Shelter ideally between 11am and 4pm any day of the week.”

“We love to hear from those animals adopted from the GSPCA and please do send in your pictures and updates on how they are getting on.”

“You can send them via our social media or [email protected] .”
