The Guernsey Arts Commission earlier this month worked with multiple organisations to promote inclusivity with in the arts. Arts Sunday was a day where everyone no matter what age or ability was able to enjoy the arts, take part in workshops and meet new people. There was an opportunity to participate in live music, dancing, arts, craft and so much more….

Once again the GSPCA were able to join them for another great event and would like to thank the organisors, all involved and all that supported a great day celebrating the arts in Guernsey.

The GSPCA stall manned by Steve Byrne and Michelle Champion was kept busy all day with lots of entertainment close by.

Over £800 was raised for the 500+ animals at the GSPCA and we really enjoyed ourselves once again at this wonderful annual event.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We had a fabulous time at the Art for Everyone Seafront Sunday earlier this month.”

“It was truly a wonderful day and we raised over £800 for the hundreds of animals in our care also promoting our Wildlife Hospital appeal.”

“Huge thanks to those that made the day possible, those that helped and all that supported us.”

“We are at many events throughout this year and for anyone wanting to help please call 257261 or email [email protected] .”

“To see the many events we will be at please visit .”

Michelle Champion said "We have to say a special thanks to two very kind young ladies."

"Amelie Carre and Rasi Blondin performed playing violin at the Arts Seafront Sunday and they very kindly donated all of their busking money to help sick animals at the GSPCA."

"What a kind gesture.... thank you girls from all at the GSPCA."

Steve continued "A huge thanks to Amelie and Rasi for their kind donation which was a fantastic £15."

"Every penny helps make a real difference and it was wonderful to be asked to go on BBC Guernsey to talk to JKT, Rasi and her Dad about this wonderful kind gesture."

"We always love to hear from those wanting to help the 500 animals in our care and our 24/7 work at the GSPCA."
