The 3 day Sark Folk Festival was once again a great success and two very special young ladies did something very kind for the GSPCA and animals in our care.

9 year old Rasi Blondin and Pippa Smith busked over the 3 days with their violins and raised an amazing £145 to help animals in our care.

You may have seen these young ladies featured previously as they have used their fantastic talent at a number of events in the last year and from all at the GSPCA we cannot thank them enough.

Lorna Prince GSPCA Animal Welfare Manager said “Last week Pippa and Rasi popped by our GSPCA stall at the North Show and it was wonderful to meet and thank them for their wonderful donation.”

“We are so grateful to all that support us at the GSPCA and it was amazing to hear what Pippa and  Rasi did playing the violin at Sark Folk Festival for the animals in our care.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We meet some truly incredible people at the GSPCA that support us in so many ways and Pippa and Rasi are two true animal heroes as they have helped us using their talents not just at the Sark Folk Festival but also at the Arts Seafront Sunday.”

“Over the three days at the Sark Folk Festival they raised an amazing £145 which they presented to Lorna last week at the North Show and we cannot thank them enough for their support.”

“There are many ways to support our work and anyone wanting to raise funds we love to hear from them and you can get our contact details and see some ideas by visiting http://www.gspca.org.gg/fundraising .”
