Join the GSPCA at the South Show for our lots of fun and a Fun Dog Show at 2pm Saturday 9th August 2025.
Registration from 11am, judging by GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne from 2pm.
There is an entry charge to the South Show and for those
GA&HS members they have free entry.
£5 minimum donation per dog to enter as many classes as you wish.
All breeds welcome.
Classes include:
- Best male puppy (under 2yrs)
- Best female puppy (under 2yrs)
- Lovely Ladies
- Fabulous Fellas
- Best Rescue
- Waggiest Bum with Happiest Handler
- Golden Oldies (7 yrs +)
- Best Trick
- Best Fancy Dress
- Dog Most Like Their Owner
- Best in Show (winners of the previous classes)
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are very excited to announce that for a third year the South Show has moved back into the field at St Martins Community Centre as well as the Centre itself and on Saturday 9th August we will have our GSPCA stall and we will be running a Fun Dog Show for a third year.”
“Entry forms are on our blog on our website or available on the day and registration starts on Saturday from 11am with judging at 2pm.”
“For just a minimum donation of £5 you can enter in as many classes as you like and suit.”
“If you would like to help volunteer on our stall or help with prizes for the Fun Dog Show please do get in touch by calling 257261 or email steve@gspca.org.gg .”
“I must mention the winner from each of the classes will go forward for Best in Show to see who wins the South Show Cup (kindly donated by Forest Stores) which they get to keep for one year!”
