From Bowls to Bricks – How You Can Help the GSPCA This Christmas
This Christmas, the GSPCA is asking the community to help make the festive season brighter for the thousands of animals we care for every year. Whether it’s a 50p food bowl, a toy for a rescued pet, or a donation towards the BIGGEST BUILD in our history, every gift makes a difference.
On our Amazon Wish List, there are hundreds of essential items that help us provide daily care, from bedding and enrichment toys to cleaning supplies. You can also find more ideas on the GSPCA Wish List page at www.gspca.org.gg .
In addition to these items, we urgently need £12,000 to upgrade our aging IT systems, which are vital for managing animal records, coordinating rescues, and running the shelter efficiently. And with the walls of our new Wildlife Hospital now going up, we’re still fundraising for the £3.7 million Biggest Build Appeal, which will transform animal care in Guernsey.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said:
"Christmas is a time for giving, and every donation – whether it’s a bowl, a blanket, or a brick – helps us care for animals in need. We’ve made it easy to support us through our Wish Lists, and we’re so grateful for the incredible generosity of our community."
