Today the team at the GSPCA got to meet 5 of the staff from Moores Hotel.

The reason for their visit was to present the GSPCA with a fabulous £605 donation raised from an event they held on Boxing Day.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager, Gemma Gaudion GSPCA Animal Care Assistant and Harley one of the in for homes dogs greeted the Moores Hotel staff and after a picture and huge thanks Steve took the group for a tour to show them how the funds will help so many animals.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “It was wonderful to meet and show the Moores Hotel team around the GSPCA.”

“From all of the GSPCA a huge thank you to the Moores Hotel staff and all that helped raise the amazing £605 they donated today.”

“With over 500 animals at the GSPCA including the 4 seal pups and the oiled birds being rescued daily the donation will help many in our care.”

Today the team from the Moores Hotel said on their facebook page – “Mrs Harris seen here today presenting a cheque for £605 from the proceeds of our Charity Race Night held on Boxing Day, to the Manager of the GSPCA, Mr Steve Byrne.”

“We were then treated to a tour of the GSPCA's facilities by Mr Byrne and were amazed at the number of different types of animals cared for by the shelter and its dedicated team of full-time staff and volunteers.”

“We like would thank all those that helped make our donation possible and are delighted to have helped support this most worthy cause.”

Steve continued “There are many ways to help support our work and to donate or set up an event to raise funds for the GSPCA please visit .”

“Next month it is our GSPCA Purple Week when we celebrate 146 years and to get involved please visit our web page .”
