Earlier this week the GSPCA welcome staff from the Pets at Home Guernsey store to have a catch up and show the work that goes on 24/7.

Pets at Home and also the Pets Foundation (formerly the Pets at Home Foundation or Support Adoption for Pets) support the GSPCA and many other animal charities across the UK in many ways.

Jason Le Ber from Pets at Home & The Groom Room Guernsey (Pets at Home Guernsey) said on their facebook page “Was great to pop up and see Steve and the rest of the team at the GSPCA, Guernsey SPCA !”

“They have been our partnered charity since we opened in Guernsey and are looking forward to continue supporting and working with them for the next years to come!”

“If you are keen to see their work, pop online to their website and have a look ”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “It was wonderful to meet Jason from Pets at Home earlier this week and show him around the Animal Shelter.”

“The Pets at Home team and store support us in many ways.”

“From donation bins in store to the VIP club which results in vouchers to the GSPCA to buy animal supplies we are so grateful to Pets at Home and of course the Pets Foundation who partner in many way to support animal charities.”

“You can join the VIP club by going to and not only will you get discounts and offers also every time you get your VIP's essentials, treatments or treats, you raise Lifelines for an animal charity of your choice which in Guernsey is the GSPCA.”

“Pets at Home send you quarterly updates to let you know how much you've raised and to date, members have helped raise over £10 million across the many charities!.”

“We had such a great time showing Jason around and talked about lots of ways of helping animals in need in Guernsey and watch this space not only for updates on these exciting plans, but also the Santa Paws Appeal that launches in store soon and we will be looking for volunteers to collect as part of this appeal over the next 2 months.”

“We are always welcomed into the Pets at Home store and if anyone would like to fund raise in store for us please do let us know by calling 257261, email [email protected] or pop in to the Shelter.”
