Stall spaces and buskers needed for the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday on 11th September

With under 2 months to go the GSPCA are preparing for the eleventh Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.

In recent years we have seen just over 100 stalls at our biggest event of the year and if you want to join us please do get in touch.

We would be delighted if any other stalls or buskers would like to join us to help celebrate animals in Guernsey.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said "The summer is incredibly busy for us at the GSPCA from the many animals that arrive to all of the events and as well as all this we are preparing for the biggest event in our calendar, the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday."

“Last year we had well over 100 stalls booked in not including all that we were doing as the GSPCA and we want to hear from those wanting to support this amazing annual event celebrating animals in Guernsey.”

"We also have our Giant Animal Mascot Olympics which we are asking for those wanting to join in to sign up and we will of course have our fun dog show."

"We are asking any buskers, bands, entertainers or groups that can help to add to the great atmosphere to please get in touch."

"We are calling all stall holders not yet booked in to please get in touch so we can make this year bigger and better."

"Finally anyone wanting to volunteer or help please do get in touch."

Steve continued “There are many ways you can help support our vital 24/7 work and donate or raise funds for the hundreds of animals in our care.”

“With over 100 hedgehogs, 4 seal pups, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, fish, reptiles and many birds we help over 3000 animals through the doors every year.”

“We do promote buying items locally but shopping online can help raise funds at the same time as if you select the GSPCA through easy fund raising part of the amount through 1000’s of online retailers comes back to the GSPCA and it has raised over £2500.”
