STILL MISSING Dora Lost medium sized grey cross breed dog LAST POSSIBLE SIGHTING Footes Lane to the Rohais

On Thursday last week a medium sized grey cross breed dog called Dora went missing in the Amherst School area wearing a blue vest.

We are appealing for sightings of Dora to be reported to the GSPCA by calling 257261.

Please DO NOT chase the dog as you may scare her from the area but instead report the sighting immediately.

Dora’s travels to date -

Thursday/Friday – Amherst School / Fosse Andre / Grammar School / St Pierre Park

Weekend/Monday – Donkey Hill / near GSPCA / Talbot Valley

Tuesday – Footes Lane / St Pierre Park

The GSPCA are daily attending areas of sightings to help with the search but as mentioned please if you see her DO NOT try to approach or catch her instead call us immediately on 01481 257261 and then if possible get a picture or video from a safe distance so we can see her condition.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are appealing for sightings of a missing dog called Dora that originally went missing near Amherst School.”

“We believe she may be in the Castel or St Andrews area with sightings from Talbot Valley to the Grammar School and St Pierre Park Hotel.”

“We believe the grey and blue medical jumper she had on has come off.”

“We really don’t want people chasing her as she is very timid and it will scare her from the area, instead to call us immediately on 257261.”

“If you do see her after the call please do try and get some pictures or VT’s at a safe distance so we can confirm it is her and the condition she is in.”

“We are in close communication with the owner and doing all we can to help including at looking at options including wildlife cameras and a dog trap but there is a process to ensure this sort of operation works and doesn’t further scare her to another area.”

“Any sightings please call us immediately and we can then work with the owner to get Dora safely home.”
