The GSPCA is thrilled once again to be part of this year’s West Show, proudly embracing the show’s slogan “West is Best!” Our vibrant stall is packed with fun and fundraising, featuring a tombola, games, goods for sale, and information about our exciting Buy A Brick campaign — supporting the biggest build in GSPCA history.

RBS International Team Lends a Helping Hand at the GSPCA

The GSPCA was delighted to welcome a fantastic team of four volunteers from RBS International last Friday (25th July) to support the busy animal shelter in St Andrews, Guernsey.

The team was greeted by Tim Pellett, GSPCA’s Community and Training Officer, who gave them a warm welcome and a quick introduction before capturing a lovely group photo to mark the occasion. The volunteers then rolled up their sleeves and spent the day assisting with a range of tasks around the shelter.

Massive thanks to Northern Trust staff help out at the GSPCA who have now sent over 300 staff over the last decade

Today the first of a number of groups of Northern Trust staff came along to help out at the GSPCA.

Every year for over a decade each summer staff from Northern Trust have been helping the GSPCA in many ways which now numbers over 300 meaning more from Northen Trust have helped out than any other company.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “The team at Northen Trust are truly incredible and today we welcomed the first group of 3 volunteers helping out  at the GSPCA.”

A huge thanks to staff from Julius Baer who return for a second year to help volunteer at the GSPCA

Once again we must say a huge thanks Julius Baer helping the GSPCA who this month helped out at the GSPCA.

We we cannot thank the Julius Baer staff enough for the amazing help on the 5th June 2025.

“We love spending time with amazing businesses who want to support our work and earlier this month on rather a damp day the 13 staff from Julius Baer did an amazing job helping in so  many ways.”

CSR & volunteer prebuild & paint help needed to prepare for GSPCA BIGGEST BUILD & last repairs since Storm Ciaran

Can you help us at the GSPCA with the preparations and repairs needed ahead of our BIGGEST BUILD?

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “The GSPCA is now through the tender stage and in negotiations in regards the BIGGEST BUILD at the GSPCA.”

“This is without doubt the BIGGEST BUILD in our 151 year history and we continue to fund raise and appeal for help, but before we can move forward we need helping hands.”

“We have a number of challenges to complete that we are looking for volunteers, volunteer groups, corporates and anyone keen to help.”

Huge thanks once again to the amazing staff at Specsavers for their help from the GSPCA #WithoutUS

It is amazing how we are supported in such a range of ways at the GSPCA.

On the 17th September a team of 20 staff from Specsavers from across the UK gave up a day in the office to help out at the GSPCA.

Tim Pellet GSPCA Community and Training Officer said “We have some amazing friends and supporters at Specsavers and on the 17th September we welcomed a wonderful group who were such an amazing help at the GSPCA.”

GSPCA have a fabulous time at the West and North Show thanks to Northern Trust raising nearly £4000

Each Summer the GSPCA attend many of the events held around Guernsey and once again for 12 years running we attended the West and North Shows with a huge amount of help from staff from Northern Trust.

Every year for over a decade each summer staff from Northern Trust have been helping the GSPCA in many ways.

Huge thanks to KPMG from volunteers to #BringYourDogToWorkDay from the GSPCA

KPMG have been once again incredibly supportive to the GSPCA this Summer.

Last month two amazing teams of volunteers spent a day and a half helping with the animals to painting and decorating around the GSPCA.

Also on June 21st once again KPMG had an office full of dogs as part of #BringYourDogToWorkDay in aid of the GSPCA.
