With Spring comes the growing season and the GSPCA are appealing for funds to help towards a new mower for the Shelter.
With over 3 acres of grounds there is a lot of grass at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews.
We have been offered a fantastic machine for only £350 and we would love it if someone would be kind enough to help towards it.
The machine would be used to cut the fields and grounds where we walk and exercise the dogs as well as the areas where our resident ducks reside on our pond.
Michelle Rogers from the Pet Cabin in less than 7 weeks will be running the Half Marathon in aid f the GSPCA and Sarnia Guinea Pig Rescue.
Her training is going well but she is appealing for sponsorship to help raise lots of money for both the local animal charities.
You can sponsor Michelle by popping into the Pet Cabin on the Grand Bouet or call 01481 711971.
We would like to thank Michelle and wish her luck in her half marathon.

After months of wandering the south cliffs of Guernsey Slygo the stray terrier was safely caught in the early hours of this morning.
The GSPCA has been working with the authorities and other charities to capture the nervous little dog that has been stray since February this year.
We must start by thanking all of the press and public in their support as without the combined help of everyone involved we wouldn't have been able to catch him.
