The GSPCA are hugely grateful to Waitrose who once again for their amazing support and help.

In May not only did they spend two days helping us at the GSPCA, they kindly donated a fantastic £560 towards much needed items to help with the work that was carried out.

Both Waitrose stores at Admiral Park and Waitrose Rohais have been hugely supportive to the work of the GSPCA and the many animals in our care.

On the 30th April a group of the Waitrose Partners spent an evening looking around the GSPCA with Animal Care Assistant Beckie Bailey and they got to see behind the scenes and how they could help.

On the 22nd and 23rd of May two teams of volunteers from Waitrose came along to the GSPCA to help out in many ways and did a great job especially painting the fences around site which not only did they help but the funds donated helped purchase the equipment needed to carry out the work.

The teams were greeted each day by Tim Pellett GSPCA Training and Community Officer who said “All of the Waitrose Partners who volunteered at the GSPCA were such a fabulous help and we really appreciate all that they did.”

“There is so much that needs to be done each day at the GSPCA we love to hear from those that can help us from gardening to painting, caring for animals to fund raising.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We are hugely grateful to both Waitrose stores who are support us in so many ways.”

“The work and the donation from the Wautrose team is so appreciated and we cannot thank them enough.”

“There are many ways to support our work and get involved and anyone wanting to know more please call 257261 or email me on [email protected] .”
