Nominations close Monday 4th August
The GSPCA is calling on islanders to show their support by nominating the charity and its dedicated team of staff and volunteers in the Pride of Guernsey Awards 2025 before nominations close on Sunday 4th August.
These prestigious awards celebrate the everyday heroes of our community—those who go above and beyond to make Guernsey a better place. The GSPCA has proudly seen team members and the organisation itself shortlisted and even win in previous years, and we believe 2025 should be no different.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said: "Every single day, 365 days a year, our team works tirelessly to care for animals in need—rescued wildlife, abandoned pets, injured marine life—you name it.”
“Whether it’s 3am call-outs or hand-rearing orphaned creatures, our staff and volunteers give their all.”
“It would mean the world to see their efforts recognised through these incredible local awards."
From life-saving seal pup rescues to rehoming hundreds of animals, responding to cruelty concerns, and supporting the community through education and outreach, the GSPCA is at the heart of Guernsey’s animal welfare work.
With recent projects like the Big Build, the team’s efforts have only intensified, and the organisation continues to rely on the compassion and commitment of its people.
