GSPCA and animal friends visit Browhill Nursing Home

Last month GSPCA Animal Care Assistant Beckie Bailey and some of the Shelter animals made a very special visit.

Beckie with a few of the animals from the GSPCA went along to Browhill Nursing Home not only to give a talk on our work and the animals, the residents also had an opportunity to interact and hold the animals that Beckie took along.

Beckie Bailey GSPCA Animal care Assistant said “Mis June I went along to Browhill nursing home to do a talk and show the residents some of the GSPCA animals.”

Join us at the Government House Charities Fete on Saturday 20th July

Come see us on Saturday 20th July with 34 other local charities with a wide variety of stands - all on the front lawn of Government House.

There will be various activities and entertainment through the afternoon - plus food and refreshments.

Entry is free (car park is min. £2 donation to Guernsey Scouts)

This is all kindly being organised by the Association of Guernsey Charities with the kind permission of our Patron His Excellency The Lieutenant-Governor..

See the GSPCA at the Eat, Drink and Be Local Seafront Sundays next being the 28th July

The GSPCA are looking forward to the upcoming Eat, Drink and Be Local Seafront Sundays.

That’s right once again we are delighted to say that you will be able to see the GSPCA at each of the remaining Seafront Sundays this year.

We will have our fun stall with a full range of tombolas, games and GSPCA goods and we are very much looking forward being part of this fantastic event.

After an incredibly busy Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday and the first Seafront Sunday of the season last week the GSPCA are back out this weekend joining the Eat, Drink and Be Local Seafront Sunday.

That’s right once again we are delighted to say that you will be able to see the GSPCA at every Seafront Sunday this year.

SAVE THE DATE - Le Friquet's Annual Family Fun Day returns on June 8th 2019!!

This FREE event celebrates the start of Summer in style with a huge range of activities and fun for the whole family to enjoy.

This is always an extremely exciting event in their calendar and we hope you'll all join us and them for an afternoon of family fun in the sun!

Yes once again the GSPCA will be there with lots of tombolas and games to raise funds for the many animals in our care, taking place 11am until 4pm.

Stall & busking spaces still available for the GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday on 26th May

With just 10 days to go the GSPCA are busy preparing for the eighth Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.

With Crown Princess with possibly 3000 passengers visiting it is set to be a busy day on the 26th May.

We are more than happy if any stalls or buskers would like to join us and if you are interested in supporting our day to celebrate animals in Guernsey please do get in touch.

Less than 10 days to join in our Giant Animal Mascot 5-a-side football event at our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday 26th May

In just 10 days we will be holding a Giant Animal Mascot event during our Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday.

This is open to mascots and individuals prepared to dress as an animal and play a fun football game with a rather over sized ball.    

We are asking businesses, pubs, individuals or anyone as a team of 5 or an individual and we can make extra teams on the day.

Don't worry about what to wear we will provide the Giant Animal Mascot suit and have over 70 available, although can bring your own.

Staff Volunteer & Team Christmas Party 7pm Saturday 22nd December

This Saturday at the GSPCA we are having our annual Christmas celebration for all those that have done so much for animals and the community over the last year.

Dress code is Christmas themed and all staff, volunteers, friends, supporters and families are welcome to join us to celebrate all we have achieved during another busy year.

Children are also welcome and there will be lots to keep them entertained from space hoppers to tunnels to play in.
