A huge thanks to all that joined in with the family fun in Market Square, last Saturday 18th July.

We joined in to celebrate all things #GuernseyTogether with a kids area, markets for the adults, and performances throughout the day.

GSPCA volunteers were there with our stall for the first time since lock down with a selection of games and tombolas raising much needed funds for the animals in our care.

A huge thanks to Paul, Corinne and Cathy who ran and all that supported in raising over £510 for the animals in our care and vital 24/7 work.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “What an amazing day at the Market Place Family Fun Day last Saturday.”

“A fantastic £510.63 was raised which is much needed during these difficult days.”

“This was our first time out at an event since lock down took place and you will see us at many events over the coming weeks including Le Friquet Family Fun Day on Saturday 8th August, the Arts Seafront Sunday on the 9th August, the Bailiwick Big Day Out on Sunday 16th August, the Lions Club Guernsey Together Celebrates on Saturday 22nd August, the Motor Seafront Sunday on the 23rd August, the Government House Charities Fete on Saturday 29th August and our biggest event of the year is back on being our GSPCA Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday on the 13th September.”

“If you would like to help with any of the events please give us a call on 01481 27261 or email [email protected] .”
