The Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) is proud to announce the start of the BIGGEST BUILD in its 152-year history — a transformative £3.7 million development that will reshape animal welfare in Guernsey for generations to come.
The ambitious project includes the construction of a state-of-the-art Wildlife Hospital, Welfare and Rehoming Kennels, and the island’s first purpose-built Ferret Unit. These vital facilities will replace outdated buildings, some dating back to the 1940s, and enable the GSPCA to meet the growing and complex needs of animals in their care.
To support this monumental undertaking, the GSPCA is inviting individuals, businesses, and groups to be a part of history through the “Buy a Brick” Appeal, exclusive Build Partnerships, and multiple sponsorship opportunities.
“This is the BIGGEST BUILD in our history,” said Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager. “We are incredibly excited and proud to be creating a future where every wild, domestic, and unwanted animal in Guernsey gets the care they truly deserve.”
Buy a Brick – Leave a Lasting Legacy
The GSPCA’s “Buy a Brick” campaign is a special way to become part of the new Wildlife Hospital, the first of its kind in the Channel Islands. For just a small donation, supporters can have a brick engraved with their name, a loved one’s name, or their business. This gift comes with a certificate and a token of appreciation.
