Last Tuesday many of the artists and sponosrs were invited by Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA to Government House for the Official Launch of the Puffin Parade.
Both Autism Guernsey and GSPCA are extremely grateful to Mrs Cripwell who is the Patron of Autism Guernsey and the Lieutenant General Richard Cripwell CB, CBE who is the Patron of the GSPCA for making all feel so welcome and host what was a wonderful start to the Puffin Parade.

The Autism Guernsey and GSPCA Puffin Parade is to be very soon to be launched.

There are so many to thank on the journey to get us where we are and there is still a lot of work behind the scenes, but there is one more appeal Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA would like to ask.

Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA are currently organising the Puffin Parade for 2023.

Delivered thanks to Condor Ferries and Ferry speed and we have collected paint donated by Norman Piette they will be handed over to local artists, designers and community groups who will decorate them from next week.

The 60 fiberglass moulds have now arrived on island and we have had 36 delivered with the remaining arriving on Friday at 2pm.
Once all are delivered thanks to Condor Ferries and Ferry speed and we have collected paint donated by Norman Piette they will be handed over to local artists, designers and community groups who will decorate them.
With nearly all sponsored Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA are looking for the final few sponsors and any artists wanting to decorate them.

The 60 fiberglass moulds were recently completed and it is anticipated they will arrive in Guernsey towards the end of this month when they will be handed over to local artists, designers and community groups who will decorate them.
With nearly 50 already sponsored Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA are looking for the final sponsors and any artists wanting to decorate them.
In 2021 Autism Guernsey and the Guernsey Adult Literacy Project organised the Goat Trail which was extremely successful and raised over £80,000 for the charities.
Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA are now organising a further parade for 2023 – the Puffin Parade.
When deciding on what kind of statue to use for this event, it was agreed that we would keep to the theme of animals and birds synonymous with the Bailiwick. Therefore it was agreed that we would use Puffins, although larger than their normal size.
On Wednesday 9th February an oiled puffin was rescued on Lihou.
The very poorly bird called Pedro continues to do well at the GSPCA.

2021 Guernsey saw the Guernsey Goat Trail which was hugely popular and brought smiles and fun to many islanders and visitors.
Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA are delighted to be working together to bring a Puffin Parade to Guernsey in 2023.
Both charities are looking for businesses to sponsor a puffin and artists to decorate them. This is a real community project and we invite groups, schools, individuals and professional artists to join in this initiative and paint a puffin.
