The GSPCA would like to thank everyone that helped sharing and retweeting the appeal for the owner of this lost husky that came in on Saturday.
We are pleased to announce that he is now back home and we really appreciate everyone's help.
The GSPCA would like to remind all dog owners that all dogs should have a collar and tag with the owners details and that we microchip dogs and cats for only £4.99 at the Shelter.

To help celebrate the 140th year of the GSPCA we are holding our first ever GSPCA Purple Week to help celebrate caring for animals in Guernsey. Our official birthday is the 14th February which was the day we were founded back in 1873.
So far there are a number of businesses involved but here are a few ideas if you haven't already seen them -

We now have a selection of counter boxes with GSPCA goods to help raise funds for animals in Guernsey with a number of local businesses involved and The Pet Cabin are the latest to join in.

We are pleased to announce that the owner of Chilli has been found.
Claire Mclarnon after seeing formerly named Chilli the Corn Snake in today's Guernsey Press has just called into the Animal Shelter in St Andrews to confirm Chilli is indeed Lenny.
Claire who whilst in the middle of moving discovered Lenny had escaped in transit nearly 3 weeks ago.
At 3 years of age Lenny has survived some of the coldest temperatures Guernsey has had in the last year and staff and volunteers at the Shelter were pleased to see how happy Lenny and Claire were to see each other.
Are your pets microchip details up to date?
In the last 24 hours the GSPCA have received two dogs and a cat that all were chipped but unfortunately did not have up to date details.
The GSPCA are urging all pet owners to ensure you animals microchip details are up to date. In this modern world with mobile phones we often change numbers and occasionally move address but without these details being kept up to date can mean your pet isn't reunited as quickly as it could be.
Yesterday Ambulance Collection Officer had a very unusual call to collect what sounded like a stray snake on the beach.
The call came via the police after being spotted by some passers by walking along the front at Halfway in St Sampsons.
Geoff George attended to find a very cold stray corn snake.
Now named Chilli and in a warm vivarium at the GSPCA Animal Shelter we are appealing for the owner to come forward.
At around three feet long it is not possible to age Chilli but if you think this is your snake please call the Shelter on 01481 257261.
The GSPCA is pleased to announce that our first Counter Boxes are now in place at Tangles Hair Design in St Sampsons.
Collected by Vikki Bougard from Tangles Hair Design who is supporting the GSPCA this year, they now have a collection of Small Labradors, GSPCA Pens, GSPCA Pin Badges and GSPCA Wrist Bands.
The GSPCA only launched this range last week to help celebrate GSPCA Purple Week and our 140th Birthday which is only a few weeks away.
We are pleased to report that both Hanois and Jethou Bumblebe the rescued grey seal pups are recovering well.
Jethou Bumblebee who has been cared for at the GSPCA for just over 9 weeks has doubled his original weight and looking very healthy.
Hanois who was rescued early this year is also putting on weight and his chest infection is much improved.
