On the 14th November a Barn Owl was found being attacked by a crow.
The poorly owl was found being dragged and after being rescued was transported to the GSPCA where she has been for the last month.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We help around 2000 sick and injured birds every year.”
“Last month a Barn Owl was rescued from a crow and brought to the GSPCA.”

In the last 8 weeks we have had two poorly seal pups come into our care this season.
Shakespeare from Jersey was rescued in October and just over a week ago the now named ‘Emilia’ rescued in St Peter Port are both responding well to treatment.

Once again the GSPCA are part of the Elf on the Shelf Guernsey Press Competition.
The naughty little Elf can be seen during our opening hours which are 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
Outside these hours he sneaks around the Shelter and we will try to catch a few pictures of his adventures in the run up to Christmas.

The GSPCA recently received the written confirmation that full planning has been approved for a new Wildlife Hospital at the GSPCA.
