We are pleased to say this dog is now back with his owner.
The GSPCA are appealing for the owner of a stray dog.
On Saturday the GSPCA were called out to collect a stray dog that was found near La Mare de Carteret Secondary School.
The male, black and white husky was found with no collar and no microchip.
The GSPCA rescue and care for 150 to 200 stray dogs every year in Guernsey but it is rare for them to be at the Shelter for a single night and in the last year there have only been two dogs that have been in for two nights.
On Saturday the 12th November the GSPCA had to rush a stray tabby and white female cat that was found on a roof in St Peter Port with what looked like signs of a road traffic injury to the vets.
Unfortunately she had no collar and no microchip but is extremely friendly and staff believe that there must be an owner for her somewhere.
Due to her injuries she is still at the vets and the GSPCA are urging anyone who may own this cat to come forward.
The GSPCA are appealing for the owner of a stray white turkey that has been at the Shelter for over a week.
Kiki as she has been fondly named was rescued from the Forest Road area on Saturday the 4th August after being reported to the Shelter wondering the streets.
She has been under treatment and is doing well but as yet no owner has come forward. Kiki has a very friendly nature and staff are confident that there must be an owner that is missing this lovely bird and we are hoping to have them re-united.
