Maximillian says ‘I’m Maximillian, a Madeiran wall lizard. You may have seen me in the Guernsey Press, from when I hitched a lift in a suitcase from Madeira all the way to Guernsey. It’s now time for me to find a forever home.
Since I landed in Guernsey I have been fully vet checked, wormed and all is in good health. I’m looking for a home where I can be a display lizard. I’m quite shy and enjoy my home comfort. I would prefer my new owner to have experience in the reptile world.
This morning the GSPCA were contacted in regards Echo the Dolphin Discovery Dolphin decorated by St Martins Primary School and sponsored by a raffle run by Guernsey freemasons.
Sadly Echo had been vandalised by being completely snapped in two.

The GSPCA are delighted to announce that this Liberation Day we will have a stall in the charity section of North Beach car park in St Peter Port this Friday 9th May.
Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We have parked our GSPCA van all ready at North Beach Car Park in preparation for tomorrows stall for Liberation Day.”

With just over 2 weeks to go to the BIGGEST day in the GSPCA calendar we are calling on volunteers that can help with our BIG day.
With over 100 stalls and much to see and do the GSPCA is buzzing with activity for the 13th Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday taking place during our 152nd year on the 18th May.
With all of the Dolphin Discovery Trail 2025 dolphins back from the artists at the GSPCA, the locations all lined up and thanks to Ravenscroft Construction the plinths all made the final items are coming together to get them all out on their trail.
The first was put in delivery were put out today with the treasure hunt and website going live in full when all are out in place.
