Please help towards Harleys life saving operation at the GSPCA

Submitted by Steve on 10:43, 24th Jan, 2019 | 0

Harley the staffy has been at the GSPCA for just over a month looking for a home so spent her Christmas at the GSPCA.

This very sweet, loving dog has stolen the hearts of the staff and volunteers and indeed everyone she meets.

Earlier this week Harley visited Isabelle Vets for a spay check to ensure she was neutered.

All of Harleys health checks since her arrival showed a healthy staffy but when she went to the vets and was put under anesthetic they found a very angry, rapid growing growth an one of her legs.

At the GSPCA only hours ago we had a box of approximately 10kg of fresh fish delivered to the Shelter by Mr. Brian Billion who had been out fishing with his family earlier today especially for the 3 seal pups at the GSPCA.

The donation was kindly accepted from reception by the Community and Training Officer Tim Pellet who said “What a wonderful donation of the freshest fish we have seen this year for the 3 seal pups.

“I told Mr Billion that the seals would more than likely be enjoying their feast within the hour and we have pictures already of Gully tucking into them.”
